Long lengths of Vynagrip matting have been installed beside the acid baths of a large rapid anodizing company. The purpose of the high performance floorcovering is to form safe and slip resistant walkways which are impervious to sulphuric and chromatics acids and other toxic materials used. The 60 year old company, Metro Plating of Uxbridge, specializes in the anodizing and coating of aluminium components, many of which are used globally in the aerospace, motorsport, marine
and medical industries.

The new Vynagrip matting replaces an earlier version which has been used in the factory for up to 20 years. This proves the cost effectiveness and long term durability of the matting in tough environments.

Vynagrip has an extra aggressive and deep etched surface; rated to provide the UK’s highest slip resistant performance (R12 when tested to DIN 51130). The matting has an open grid through which liquid spillage and production waste are dissipated. It is extremely hard wearing and resistant to oil, acids and chemicals.
Being comfortable to stand on, it will reduce physical fatigue which in turn improves concentration and productivity. The matting will contour over rough or uneven surfaces and is easily cut and shaped to fit around machines and fixtures.
